I have a question about the "Disable Automatic Retransmission" mentioned in the TCAN4551-Q1 documentation.

Does this feature mean that it will not automatically resend can message if transmission fails?

I want to send CAN messages, but I want to make sure that they are not automatically resent if the transmission fails.

Hi Nomura-san,

Yes, that is correct. The message will be transmitted once and only once even if it was not successfully acknowledged by another CAN node, or it received an error flag during transmission.
