DP83867IR: 125MHz Radiated Emission Issue with DP83867IRRGZR PHY IC

Part Number: DP83867IR

Tool/software:

Hi TI Team,

We are using the DP83867IRRGZR 1Gbps Ethernet PHY in with the AM62A34 processor in our product. We recently received the assembled PCBs and have successfully completed the bring-up and EDVT testing.

However, during pre-compliance testing, we observed that the device is failing the Radiated Emission certification standard IEC 61000-6-3:2021 Class B by approximately ~5dBm.

Upon further debugging, we identified that the emissions are originating from the DP83867IRRGZR PHY IC itself. This finding was confirmed using a near-field probe and a spectrum analyzer.

We also noticed multiple threads on the TI forum discussing similar 125MHz EMI noise issues related to the PHY IC. For example:
DP83867IR 125MHz EMI Noise Issue

Could you please advise on how we can mitigate this issue? Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support.
