TCAN1145-Q1: Flashed the TJA1145 firmware into the TCAN1145

Hi team,

The customer flashed the TJA1145 firmware into the TCAN1145. Logically, due to the difference in some registers, CAN communication cannot be achieved. However, in reality, CAN communication can be achieved. What is the reason?
SPI communication cannot be achieved. Should TCAN1145 be in Standby mode? In this mode, CAN communication cannot be achieved? How does TCAN1145 switch from Standby to normal mode?

    What's the purpose to use TJA1145 software on TCAN1145? They are different devices. Does not make any sense to do such kind of test. 

    The only way to change from standby mode to normal mode on TCAN1145-Q1 is write to the MODE_CNTRL register. The SPI write would be 0x21 0x07. They can try to see if their software had issued such a command.
