TCAN4551-Q1: Bus Monitoring Mode

I have a question about the "Bus Monitoring Mode" mentioned in the TCAN4551-Q1 documentation.

If this mode is enabled, will the TCAN4551-Q1 not send an ACK when receiving data from another CAN node?

    Hi Nomura-san,

    This is correct, when the TCAN4551-Q1 is in the Bus Monitoring Mode, it will only send recessive bits on the CAN bus.  This means it will NOT transmit a dominant ACK bit on the bus when it receives a message on the bus.
