SN65DSI83: MIPI Parallel CSI to Serial CSI conversion

Hi JH,

The SN65DSi83 is a DSI device, it does not support CSI.

Could you please specify what you mean by parallel and serial MIPI CSI? Which interfaces are you referring to?
It may also help if you shared some devices which use these interfaces so we can check what compatible devices we have in the TI portfolio.

Over the years, the MIPI Alliance have specified successive camera digital interfaces:

1) Camera Parallel Interface (CPI),

2) Camera Serial Interface 1 (CSI-1),

3) Camera Serial Interface 2 (CSI-2), and

4) Camera Serial Interface 3 (CSI-3).

The customer is looking for a CPI to CSI conversion solution.
