I downloaded IBIS-AMI for the TI website for redriver part number TUSB501TDRFRQ1.

For TX and RX Package model are not mentioned.

Requested to provide a proper naming PKG model.
Also requesting proper documentation about AMI model along with example.

Requesting for proper TX and RX PKG s-parameter.

Document is not proper, need a document with proper example.

This is found in the zip file as follows. This holds the s-parameters for the TX and RX.

Yow will need ADS to run the simulation. Have you used ADS to simulate with IBIS AMI before?

I am using HyperLynx tool for simulation.

In S-parameter provided which is RGE and RLL which is RX and which is TX PKG?

Hi,

I'm not sure we can support this over hyperlynx as this IBIS AMI file was designed for ADS. There may be some interop issues that are outside the scope of my expertise.

If you open the .txt file for the s-parameters you can see which pins are assigned to which port.

Hi Vishesh,

In the S-parameter i am only looking ports for RX and TX pins.

S-parameter is is having 16 ports.

and if you look close port name starts with 10,11,19,20,22,23,7 and 8.

But this this particular component have only 8 pins.

How naming convention is done in port_name in the S-parameter.?

Hi,

Apologies for being unclear. The original simulation was done with the SN65LVPE502a.

This part has very similar performance to TUSB501. but it has two channels.

The s16 file can be used as a reference. If you use data from just CH1 or CH2 (pins 8,9,23,22 and 11,12,19,20 respectively), you will have the data you are looking for.

Hi Vishesh,

In the IBIS-AMI Model, The documentation provided along with model does not have proper in formation on Time domain simulation(Diagram).

Can please provide the document which conatin Signal Integrity Analysis(Time domain Simulation) in the Document.

So that I Know the Model is working properly.
