XIO2001 based product does not work in Intel P67 based motherboard

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6205, XIO2001

Hi

We have a series of PCI products based around the TMS320C6205+TMS320C6713.  We created PCIe versions by adding an XIO2001.

Lately we have seen issues when trying to run the XIO2001 based products on Intel P67 based motherboards.  The TMS320C6205 is detected and enumerated, but our Windows driver fails when trying to read certain registers.

The PCI version of the product (i.e no XIO2001) seems to work OK, when plugged into the mobo PCI slot.  The mobo (in this case a Gigabyte GA-P67X-UD3-B3) has a PCIe to PCI bridge chip external to the intel P67 chipset made by ITE, called an ITE8892E.

thanks

steve
