DS250DF410: IBIS model related query

HI,

In the IBIS Model for the DS250DF410 RXterm and TXTerm options are provided. But we donot see any register settings for this in the register map. Please suggest is this termination enabled by default in the device OR are there any settings to enable and disable the RXterm and TxTerm values

    Hi Sudarshan,

    Our device expert is currently out of the office and will be back next week to answer your question.

    Out of curiosity, can you show us what options are available in the IBIS-AMI file for the RX and TX terminations? In my experience with signal conditioning devices, the internal terminations needed to interface with the signal lines are automatically configured in the real devices.

    In the above image there are 2 settings shown which are rx_term and tx_term. My question was w.r.t these settings

    Hi Sudarshan,

    These are termination s4p models which should be included when performing any IBIS-AMI simulation with this device.

    These do not correlate to any device registers.  Termination is enabled by default.
