DS320PR410: Lane Swap

Tool/software:

Hi expert,

 Does DS320PR410 support Lane swap? If no, what's the reason.

Like TX0, TX1, TX2, TX3 connect to RX3, RX2, RX1, RX0? 

Using RC to connect EP, EP side support lane swap, if DS320PR410 add inside, could this function still realize?

    Hello Winnie,

    DS320PR410 cannot perform any lane swap on its own, as its datapaths are linear.

    However, if both the PCIe root complex and endpoint support lane reversal/swap, then this could be feasible. Please note that in this case, RX0 will still connect to TX0 of the redriver's datapath, RX1 to TX1, etc.
