Hi all,
I have a question regarding the surge tests on the THVD2419.
Where was the test voltage applied? Between A or B to GND? Or between A to B?
Thanks a lo and best regards

Hi Lars,
It should be figure 8-6 in the datasheet. (So machine to A and B with the reference GND of the surge generator to be shared with the EUT GND). I think a 10mH inductor is placed between power supply output and GND with fuses up to 500mA to prevent damage to the PSU by decoupling it from the generator.
This is similar to figure 14 in the surge IEC 61000-4-5 standard. Rm2 in the standard is set to 80 ohms in TI's test set up.
