TLIN1431-Q1: Can WAKE pin be triggered by 200Hz PWM signal

Part Number: TLIN1431-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

In the datasheet it is stated that the HSS pin can be programmed to support a 200Hz or 400Hz 10-bit PWM signal via PWM1 or PWM2, and it can be configured to one of the timers to work with the WAKE pin.

Can you please verify if this means that the HSS output pin feeds a 200Hz 10-bit signal towards the WAKE pin?

Can the WAKE pin also be configured to be an input for an external 200Hz PWM signal?

Thanks for a feedback.

  • Hi Isabel,

No, not internally. The HSS pin can be configured to output the PWM signal and will not automatically feed the signal to the WAKE pin. Can be done externally.

The WAKE pin can act as an input designed to detect rising / falling edges but would not process or decode PWM correctly as this can be trigger multiple wake-up events, thanks.

    Best Regards,

    Michael.
