Tool/software:
Hi ,
As perTCA39306-Q1:data sheet allowed voltage-level translation is below added (Lower Voltage to higher voltage)
Can we use it for 3.3V(master) to 1.8V/2.5V (slave) down translation? Please suggest
Thanks

Hi Karthik,
Yes this is possible. If you are going to use the VREF1 side for the master and VREF2 side for the slave, you might see slightly worse prop delays (ns range) due to using the higher voltage on the VREF1 side. Level translation should still work properly, and for I2C applications should not make a large enough difference as to cause any problems.
