SN55LVDS31: Signal Transfer Characteristics?

Part Number: SN55LVDS31

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

  • Is there any data on input-to-output signal transfer (basically ripple rejection from input-to-output)?
  • Is there any data on supply-to-output signal transfer (basically a PSRR-esque behavior)?
  • Without data on the first two. Does a SPICE model exist for this part, or of a single differential driver?

Regards,

Filipe Rubinstein

  • Hi Filipe,

So the answer to all these questions is no. What we have in the datasheet and product page - is what is available. We don't have other material  on this device unfortunately.

  • The inputs are digital buffers, so they are essentially isolated.

LVDS outputs are current sources, so there is some amout of PSRR. But this is not specified. And if there were a model, it would not simulate this behaviour.

In general, the decoupling capacitor on the supply should filter out noise.
