SN65LVDM1676: Request for Non-Operating/Storage Temperature Range on Part Number SN65LVDM1676DGGR

Part Number: SN65LVDM1676

Tool/software:

Good evening when I looked at the datasheet for part number SN65LVDM1676DGGR, I do not see the non-operating/storage temperature range. What is the non-operating/storage temperature range for part number SN65LVDM1676DGGR?

  • Hi James,

We don't have it specified for this device - all we have is an approximation and that will put Storage Temperature at  -40C to 150C - the lower corner may be a bit  higher than what it actually is in reality - but since we do not have a specification the safe storage range will be what is put above.

From the power dissipation table you can get the thermal impedance from junction to ambient and it is ~59.88C/W on this device.

You use that to calculate the max junction temperature - which is 150C (similar to most other IC's)

The -40C comes from our ambient range - in reality it is probably closer to -65C which is a common storage range minimum- but I can't guarantee that value as it wasn't specified for our device and it is 25 years old so it may not be as robust on newer devices.

So the best approximate range is -40C to 150C for storage - but that is probably conservative on the lower end.

    Best,

    Parker Dodson
