TUSB2046B: Requirement for Automotive Grade USB Hub Controller IC

Thank you for the response. Please let me also know of  a "2:1 SS MUX + CC controller" integrated chip or as separate ICs in order to mux the TX, RX differential pairs and for CC signal controls.

Can you suggest me an automotive grade part for the 2:1 SS MUX + CC Controller part also?

Hi Brian,

Could you also let me know automotive graded parts similar to TUSB8041-Q1 and HD3SS3212-Q1 which supports voltage supply of 5V since I am planning to power all 3 of my chips (USB Hub Controller, 2:1 SS MUX, CC Controller) using VBUS. TUSB319-Q1 seems to support 5V operation. But, I need the other two also supporting the 5V supply range.

Android should have USB hub driver like other Linux system.

hub need 3.3v/1.1v supply and 3212 need 3.3v supply, you need to convert 5V to 3.3v and 1.1v with LDO.

Also, I wanted to know if the part TUSB8041-Q1 USB Hub can work with only a USB interface from the MCU? Or does it require any other digital communication lines like I2C, SPI or any other interfaces with MCU?
