These define statements are for the different PHY variants supported by driver. You do not need to change these - the driver will automatically detect the DP83826 variant you are using.

Customer also wants to use MII to connect MPU and PHY

We want to know if MII can be used for Linux driver or not.

PHY driver supports MII. Please do check in with the MPU team for support on the MPU-side, the main dependency for MII is on MPU drivers.
