The status is shown in the "Status" column in the "Ordering & quality" table on the product page.
The MAX3232E/TRS3232E has better ESD protection than the MAX3232; the LM2904B is a newer version that is much cheaper than the LM2904-N.
We are using MAX3232IPWR , SN74HC244PWR and LM2904M/NOPB in our existing design. Now we are planning to update the obsolete components with one-to-one replacement in the ECU without modifying the design. So i suggest to confirm the active status of the above mentioned part number.

The E version is mainly just includes additional air-gap and contact discharge ratings. The non-E version isn't rated for this.
Other than that, the E version has a lower HBM rating on the TTL pins compared to the non-E.
The E version is pin to pin and should be a direct replacement.
For the other two devices, I will need to reassign this ticket to one of the other product lines responsible for them.

Please suggest a new alternative for LM2904B
LM2904B is active and it is newly designed via new RFAB process. It should be good for next 20 years or more.
