Hi Team,

My customer is developing 936 and need to design 935 tool board to check the function with 936.

In 935, there is internal patgen feature. I also see the tab in ALP. I believe we can do the same action like IVI SerDes, is it correct?

    Hi Roy,

    Yes, the 935 has an internal pattern generator, which can be used to send patterns in place of data from an imager. The pattern generator can be enabled by setting the registers via a script or the tab in ALP. However, ADAS and IVI devices are from different portfolios and operate differently, due to this the pattern generator is not identical. For specific details on the pattern generator used by the 935 and other ADAS devices, please see section 6.6 of the 935 device's data sheet.
