TMUXHS4212: Design with Open/Short test

Hi Experts,

We'd like to ask confirmation when using TMUXHS4212 to switch C/D PHY circuit. However, the design also needs open/short test.

Question: Is there any impact for this test?

    Hi Archie,

    Are you referring to a continuity test with a multimeter? If so, there shouldn't be any damage from this.

    Thank you.

    yes，it is continuity test on ATE( like: Advantest 93K ). we use the switch to design our load board on ATE TEST. we wait to switch cdphy circuit and O/S circuit. one port is for cdphy, other port is for O/S test; the ATE channel will connect to the switch ,then the switch's one port connects our IC pad; for os test, the ATE will force 200uA current and measure the voltage , the measured voltage is for switch or our IC? i confused this; normally we use mechanical relay but low frequency;
