Hi,

in DS320PR1601, READ_EN# signal is used for loading redriver configuration from EEPROM when used in primary mode.

for our application we are using primary mode.

if READ_EN# signal is made low using some jumper , do we need to bring back to high once ALL_DONE signal became low.

    Hi Shekha,

    No, READ_EN# does not need to be brought back to high after the ALL_DONE signal becomes low. After this occurs, the device returns to SMBus slave mode and the pin can be held low for normal device operation. This is referenced in Table 5-1. Pin Functions of the DS320PR1601 datasheet (page 14).
