XIO2001: PCI Bus communication breaks down after some traffic

Part Number: XIO2001

Tool/software:

Dear TI-Team,

We are using the TI XIO2001 in an application an are able to see the XIO2001 in PCIe device tree after boot sequence in Win10 and also all attached the PCI downstream devices.

Once we apply a bigger bit stream on PCI side via an PCI-Ethernet card or any other PCI-Device, the application / communication runs a random time (2s to 1min), but then an undefined error happens and when reloading the hardware devices in device manager (or HWinfo) only the TI XIO2001 bridge is appearing on PCIe level, but all devices on PCI bus disappeared. After a reboot everything is initially back but having the same behaviour as described

We used your reference design and stick close to it. We would need here some ideas what could cause such an behavior?

Arbiter set to internal // CLK0 = CLKIN via 49R9 // CLK/GNT/REQ[5:1] used and connected to PCI peripheral slaves // CLKRUN_EN = 0 (disabled)

Internal Voltages are stable and clean. Electromechanical connections fine and solder work is double checked with connection tester.

We would be welcoming any ideas.
