westfw,
I am not sure exactly what you are asking. As the previous posts in the thread state, if you are interested in receivingthe BEAT MAC OS X driver for the TUSB3410, please send you request to usb@ti.com and include the following information:
If your question is different, please help me understand what you are asking.
DHarmon,
It is disappointing that a non-beta version of this driver is not planned. Mac users (and there is a growing number of us) have quite a challenge attempting to talk with TI devices natively. I use the MSP-eZ430 and the MSP-FET430UIF to program up some boards we designed using the MSP430F5137 MCU. Every time there is some major update, I have to try and remember how to install these beta drivers so that I can program and talk serially to the boards. After the lion upgrade I'm still struggling to get the serial port working with the eZ430 but at least I can program with it (albeit ridiculously slowly). Thanks to http://www.mail-archive.com/mspgcc-users@lists.sourceforge.net/msg09260.html I can hack your beta version of the USB driver to be able to detect the serial on the FET430UIF reasonably consistently. Still, it would be much better if there was a proper OS X driver for these devices.
Thank you for your feedback. To be honest, we jsut do not have the resources to release a MAC driver for the TUSB3410. The new MSP430 devices with native USB support are supported by the embedded processing team and they may be interested in this request.
