TUSB3210GENPDK obsolete?

I am developing an application using a generic USB interface (presumably TUSB3210) andTLC5940 LED drivers.

I can still order the TLC5940EVM-106 for $99 but apparently the required TUSB3210GENPDK interface is obsolete.

How does one use the 5940EVM these days? Is there a substitute EVM for the TUSB3210GENPDK?

Alternatively is there a faster generic USB 2.0 interface chip for driving GPIO?   I would like more RAM

than is available in the 3210 without having to add too many more chips.

Thanks,

Gavin
