EFT/B and ESD tests are similar.

But the test points, waves, levels, etc., are different.

ESD test uses a single high-energy pulse, whereas EFT/B test uses repeated low-energy pulses.

The TUSB2046B and downstream devices are built into our product.

Our product has one USB-UP connector.

This issue occurs at all test points. (Power cable, USB cable, and other signal cables)

   Did this test performed on upstream port and downstream port? I didn't see any ESD protection device in the schematic.

No, we tested the upstream port only.

   You already tried by removing  isolator ? Any place you can add common mode choke?

Yes, but it didn't resolve the issues.

We would like to know if ESD to the upstream port can cause the following issues, and how to recover from this state.

1. The connection between the PC and the TUSB2046B is lost, and it does not recover automatically.

2. The downstream device of the TUSB2046B is lost, and it does not recover automatically.
