DS90UB953-Q1EVM: Devices not loading correctly in ALP

Tool/software:

Currently it is not loading correctly. How should I fix this? If there is no suitable solution, please tell me how to reset it to its original state.

    Hello,

    Can you try connecting just 1 EVM to your computer, such as the 953 EVM to your computer, to see if it connects properly?

    It's possible that you may need to manually switch which ALP Profile is assigned to each USB2ANY. But I wanted to confirm if you can at least connect to a single EVM at a time first.

    I tyied to connect single EVM, but it diddn't connect.
    When I inspected the board under a microscope, I found that the capacitor had broken, shorting the POC and VCCPLL. This seems to be the cause. Since it seems to be a manufacturing defect, is it possible to exchange it under warranty?

    Hello Tadashi,

    Which EVM seems to be the problem? Is it the 953 EVM or the 954 EVM?

    Can you also probe the IC power pins around the 953 or 954 and confirm if the power pins are receiving the expected 1.8V or 1.1V? This is just to double-check if there are any issues with powering the FPD-Link chip.

    Would you also be able to provide a picture or drawing, to illustrate where you noticed the short was?
