Tool/software:

If put Tx input voltage as 1v(peak to peak) the output voltage at Rx doesn't show any amplitude gain with Vod different parameter in linear mode.
But when we use the kit, the amplitude of output voltage chnages.
Why during of ibis model the amplitude of Rx doesn't change ?

The input voltage here is 100mv peak to peak and output is 328mv peak to peak with kit but with simulation the output doesn't changes.

This is simulation data. The ouput amplitude doesn't change and remain same as input amplitude.

Hi Abhinit,

The relationship between input and output voltages should follow the relationship below while using linear mode.

A few possibilities to explain your observation:

IBIS-AMI model could be modeling limiting mode
There might be different gain settings between the device and the model

EQ gain mode means 0/1 or do you mean Vod settings?

Hi Abhinit,

Drew is currently out of the office. Could you clarify which part of Drew's reply you are referring to? Figure 3 is from the DS280BR810 datasheet and the plots are for the EQ High Gain and EQ Low Gain options for the "wide-band amplitude gain" system. This works with the VOD but is configured as a separate setting from the VOD level.
