DS280BR820: Polarity swapping and AC coupling on TX channels

Hi dear TI team,

I have two questions regarding the DS280BR820.

1. Is polarity swapping possible? Of course the corresponding signal on the RX and TX side must be both swapped then. 

2. Are AC coupling capacitors on the TX side required?

    Hi Yannik,

    Polarity swapping is possible with the DS280BR820 as it supports many protocols.  I would refer to the specific protocol spec for the application to confirm if polarity swapping is supported for that protocol.

    External ac-coupling caps are needed on the Tx pins, ac-coupling caps are integrated on the Rx pins.
