DS280BR810: Signal Detect

Part Number: DS280BR810

Tool/software:

Dear Technical Support Teams,

Q1

DS280BR810 has 8ch, but this Signal Detect Register has only 1bit.

Which behavior is correct that it is asserted when all 8ch signal detected or over 1ch signal (the other channels are no signal) at RX inputs?

Q2

I'd like to get DS280BR810 Programming Guide.

I requested it on product page, but this status is pending.

After TI accepts it, is it possible to get this document?

  • Hi ttd,

    1. The register you are referring to, 0x01, is a channel register. Channel registers are used to control specific device channels. Each channel has its own Signal Detect Register, where bit 7 indicates if a signal has been detected.

    2. Yes, once you are approved you will have access to the device's programming guide. I can check internally to see why approval is still pending.

    Best regards,

    Greg
