Hi David, thank you for sharing the schematic. I will review the schematic and get back to you by Tuesday.
Best regards,
Ikram
Hi David,
We checked the schematic and had the following feedback:
1. Please ensure that the I2C pins have pullup resistors of adequate values.
2. Please follow the "10 Power Supply Recommendations" for power supply decoupling capacitors. For the VCCA pin, please place 100 nF capacitors for each pin, close to the pin.
3. The AUXP and AUXN pins should have pulldown and pullup resistors of 100 kOhms populated.
Please let me know if there are any further questions.
Thank you,
Ikram
Hi Ikram
Thanks for your support.
2. Please follow the "10 Power Supply Recommendations" for power supply decoupling capacitors. For the VCCA pin, please place 100 nF capacitors for each pin, close to the pin.
=> I used 10nF and 100nF by referring to EVM's circuit. Should I change 10nF to 100nF?
3. The AUXP and AUXN pins should have pulldown and pullup resistors of 100 kOhms populated.
==> I checked the following in the guide document and it is currently only optionally processed. Is it a mandatory specification?
Thanks
Hi David,
2. Using 10 nF and 100 nF capacitors here will also be okay.
3. Please refer to whether the display/panel eDP/DP AUX requires the pullup/pulldown resistors, since some DP sinks require the AUX pullup/pulldown resistors and others may not.
Best regards,
Ikram
