SN74LV1T34: 1.2V to 3.3V level shift

Part Number: SN74LV1T34

Tool/software:

I understand this part is not specified with 1.2V logic level when powered from 3.3V, but am curious what behavior I can expect?  We do not have 1.2V available on this board for proper 2 supply level shifting from 1.2V to 3.3V, so would like to take a risk on this part likely working.  Signal would be in the 100kHz range, so signal integrity is not an issue.

  • Hello Daniel,

There only issue is the SN74LV1T34 won't be able to register the 1.2V logic level if you are using 3.3V for VCC.

The minimum input high level voltage is 1.39V. All single supply level translators will have a similar issue unfortunately.

    Regards,
