DP83TG720EVM-MC: Which connector (MateNet or Rosenberger) is fitted in the shipped product?

Hi all,

The BoM in the user guide seems to suggest that the MateNet part is fitted, but the image used and the description in other parts seem to suggest that the Rosenberger is fitted. Has anyone brought the kit and seen which/i both are fitted?

Hi,

There is an option to use the Roseberger connector, but that connector is not populated. The board ships with the MateNet connector populated to use by default.

To clarify for other people who have the same question, the board comes shipped with the Rosenberger connector... not the MateNet

Hi Connor,

The board should ship as shown on the product page (https://www.ti.com/tool/DP83TG720EVM-MC) with the MateNet connector(J5) populated(I've recently received a couple boards internally).

I'll send a request to contact you via email to determine what may have happened in your case.
