Dear Texas Team,

Am searching for I2C expanders/ SPI expanders for long length applications(30 mtrs). I found p82b97 but it is not suitable. can suggest any part for x-ray system.

Requirement: MLX90395 sensor connected to MCU through I2c/ SPI Bus. sensors placed approximately 30mtrs from MCU.

Why is the P82B96 not suitable? It could be used, together with several transceivers like the THVD1512, to transport the I²C signals over RS-422.

Hi Gangula,

Can you confirm if the need is for IO Expander in SEP/EP grade or buffer for redriving the signals over 30m?
