TUSB8041: I want to connect to the I2C of the AM5708

Part Number: TUSB8041
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM5708

Tool/software:

I'd like to use serial communication from the AM5708 to change the TUSB8041's PWRONx settings, etc., but it seems the TUSB8041 cannot perform

I2C slave communication, so I'm thinking of communicating as an SMBus slave.

Should I set the slave address to the SMBA1 and SMBA2 values? Also, I think pull-ups are required on the CLK and DAT lines; could you please tell me the appropriate values?

It seems that setting SMBUSz to "0" will enable SMBus communication, but it states that "When SMBUSz = 0, this pin acts as the serial data interface for an SMBus host."

How do I set the TUSB8041 to be an SMBus slave?

I'm currently in the middle of setting it up, so I'd appreciate a quick reply in the comments.

Best regards,

Hiroshi Yamada
