TCAN1043A-Q1: Do TI's CAN devices meet ARINC 825 standard

Hi expert,

Do we have CAN devices which can meet ARINC 825 standard? Customer (Enpower) wants to use CAN devices in eVTOL and it need to meet ARINC 825 standard.

    I am not the most familiar with the ARINC 825 standard, and the standard is not publicly made known. But it looks like generally the physical layers between this and the CAN ISO 11898-2 physical layer are the same. TCAN1043A is compliant with ISO 11898-2 so it will likely be compliant with the ARINC physical layer portion. TCAN1043A requires a standalone controller in order to work, and this controller will likely need to be explicitly ARINC certified. ARINC seems to just configure the CAN IDs, resynchronization, and bit timing which are all part of the software layer.
