LSF0102: LSF0102

Part Number: LSF0102

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

I'm using the part LSF0102DQER for Bidirectional usage for UART interface.

Here is the schematics for reference.

I want to know the PU resistors are mandatory for this circuit.

Kindly provide your inputs.

Thanks

  • Hello Manikandan,

UART is a push-pull protocol, meaning you need pull-up resistors on the outputs otherwise the LSF0102 will act as open-drain translator.

Since UART has Tx and Rx signals, I would recommend using something like the TXU0202. No need to use pull-ups with this level translator.

    Regards,
