Hi Jon,

The only FPD-Link deserializer in our display portfolio that supports MIPI CSI output is the DS90UB940-Q1. The 940 only support up to 1080p resolution. For display resolutions up to 4k, we primarily see demand for eDP deserializers. The DS90UB984-Q1 is an eDP deserializer with 4k capability.

Is the customer able to switch from MIPI CSI to eDP?

Jack,

The attachment is the customer's Diagram block. SOC RK3576 does not have an eDP input interface. Could you please help confirm if using DS90UB9722 can FPD Link to MIPI/CSI-2 support 4K 60p deserializer?Thanks.

Hi Jon,

The DS90UB9722-Q1 can support up to 10Gbps per CSI-2 port. 4k video at 60Hz can exceed 10Gbps depending on the datatype (24bpp, 18bpp, etc.) so I cannot confirm if this solution will work. If the SoC can use dual CSI-2 ports, then this makes the solution viable
