Hi Zach,
To clarify, my understanding is that SRAM is a volatile memory.
Is the customer interested in volatile memory, non-volatile memory, or both?
Thanks,
Drew
Hi Drew,
You're right, I apologize, I was getting mixed up with ROM. They are interested in NVM in particular but would like to know about volatile memory as well. The concern is soft errors due to radiation.
Best regards,
Zach
Hi Zach,
Thanks for clarifying. I'm checking on this and will get back to you shortly.
Thanks,
Drew
Hi Zach,
We don't have any NVM in this device.
We have device registers, which could be considered a volatile memory.
Thanks,
Drew
Hi Drew,
Thank you for confirming. For the device registers, how much total memory is there? Just the registers that we can see in the datasheet or are there more hidden ones? If it's just the visible ones or that plus a few more, it looks like we'd be at ~100 bytes which should be no issue.
Best regards,
Zach
Hi Zach,
I'm not aware of any hidden registers on this device. Looks like we have (2*0x76 bytes/ch) + 7 control/shared bytes = 243 bytes.
Thanks,
Drew
Hi Drew,
Thank you for confirming. I'll let the customer know.
Thank you for your help!
