Can you please confirm if only a 50MHz (+/-50ppm) oscillator can be used for RMII?

Can we use 25M crystal for RMII?

Please see this app note, In the RMII mode, data is transferred 2-bits at a time using the 50MHz clock. Therefore, RMII mode requires a 50 MHz oscillator be connected to the device X1 pin. Using a 25 or 50 MHz crystal is not supported.
