What is the operating temperature range of this board?

    Hi Jae,

    I checked the BOM and the most limited component in terms of temperature characteristics seems to be the MSP430F5528, which is rated from -40 to +85 Celsius. So it would be better to limit this EVM to that temperature range during testing.

    Hi Evan, 

    I looked through first few items in the BOM, and CSTCR4M00G15L99-R0 has even narrower operating temperature range of 0 - 70 Celsius. 

    Am I safe to go by this limit?

    Hi Jae,

    Nice catch, 0 to 70 Celsius should be safer. The oscillator datasheet for the product series has performance data at a wider range than that, so I'm not certain if the 0-70 C range given on the manufacturer website is a range at which there won't be damage, or a range where the PPM accuracy is reasonable. On our newer boards we've switched to automotive grade crystal components but this is one of the earlier designs.
