SN65LVDS4 lower frequency limitation

Hello

Datasheets of SN65LVDS4 specifies lower limit of operation frequency as 10Mhz.

Same device is needed also for 1Mhz interface and Lab tests on EVM showed that it works fine also at 1Mhz.

please advise what if at all are the limitations when working with input frequency of 1Mhz

Ami,

SN65LVDS4 is a buffer based design and as such their are no specific reasons that it cannot support 1 MHz operation. For the purposes of the data sheet, we selected a frequency range to test against to provide expected operating characteristics. For a 1MHz frequency, please make sure that minimum rise/fall time and propogation delay meets your system's needs.
