Tool/software:
We are using the PHY in mirror mode and it works. We did notice after our design was fabricated the following in the data sheet in section 7.4.6.5: " In Mirror mode, the polarity of the signals is also reversed". We think this means the +/- connections to the transformer also need to be swapped. We did not do this (we only swapped the pairs as per the table above this statement. All is working well and should we just ignore the documentation on reversing the polarity of the signals?
