TCA9539: How should the DAP on the TCA9539RGER and TCA9539RTWR be connected?

How should the exposed pad (pin 25, DAP) on the QFN versions of the TCA9539 be connected? It's not mentioned in the data sheet.

Hi Tom,

Exposed pad can be connected to a GND net to help with heat dissipation.

Hi Tom,

No, it is not connected to a specific net inside the device.

Technically could be connected to GND or VCC, but we recommend GND because it is easier to access a GND region in most cases.
