TCA9534: Does TCA9534 Have additional current consumption in standby mode?

I found out TCA6408A has an additional current in standby mode of around 25uA. I could not find a parameter like this for TCA9534 . Does that mean it doesnt exist? I need it to be very Low Power

Hi Erwin,

The TCA9534 standby ICC mode current consumption is legit:

TCA6408A datasheet:

The 25 uA is additional current to ICCI when an input is held at a voltage below VCC by 0.6V. This spec is showing the additional current through ICCI if SDA/SCL/RESET is at a voltage below VCC by 0.6V.

If SDA/SCL//RESET are all idle and pulled high through a PU resistor, then you can refer to the standby mode current which is max 7 uA across temperature for TCA6408A.

TCA9534 does have increased current consumption for I/O's held at a voltage below VCC, however, it is not explicitly spec'ed in the datasheet.

What standby current do you need in your system? How many uA?

The current when the inputs are high is for us the most important thing. so the current on the P-ports. What is the than the current for TCA9534 ?

The datasheet already specifies the standby supply current and the input leakage current. The additional current would happen only if some input were at an invalid voltage.
