ONET1151L: Does TI has product which is VCSEL driver laser + Limiting amplifier combo chip ?

In terms of combo chips, TI has ONET1130EC.  This device is targeted at 10G applications.  In the 1-5 Gbps range, it would need to be operated in CDR bypass mode.  However, this device is targeted more at EML and Mach Zehnder modulators.

ONET8501V is specifically a VCSEL driver, but is not a combo chip.  You would also need limiting amplifier like ONET4251PA.  Looks like total area of these solutions (4x4mm and 3x3mm) is comparable to area of 5x5mm.

Hi Hanna,

It might be possible to use this device, but I'm not aware of any specific VCSEL evaluation with this device.

A few things I compared between ONET8501V and ONET1130EC.

You may also want to add some placeholders for series resistors, as discussed in this application note.
