I am looking for spice models for ONET2591 TIA. does anyone have it?? Thanks!!

Also, Any tips for designing a TIA using say THS4304 or THS3201 or something?? Thanks!!

I will forward the thread to the Fiber Communication Section of the TI E2E Support Community for your question about spice models for ONET2591.

The THS4304 and THS3201 are not popular parts for TIA. We get more design ins to TIA with OPA656 and OPA657 for high gain TIA, and OPA846 and OPA847 for high bandwidth TIA.

TIA design formulas for calculation of bandwidth, compensation, etc is found in the applications section of the OPA656, OPA657, OPA846 and OPA847 data sheets and other sources can be found on the web. A good one that shows performance comparison of TI op amps is http://www.ti.com/lit/an/sboa122/sboa122.pdf .

Hello Mr Karki,

Thanks for your inputs on the opamps.

Can you please suggest a fully differential opAmp which would work for ~ 2 GHz transimpedance amplifier application? Thanks!
