I am currently performing USB 2.0 downstream compliance testing using the AM6412 and TUSB8042A.
I am using Linux as my OS.

Tests 1 through 3 were successfully completed.

1. Host Full-Speed Signal Quality and Transition Time Test
2. Host Hi-Speed Signal Quality Test
3. Host Test J/K, SE0_NAK

However, tests 4 through 7 could not be completed due to issues such as waveforms not appearing.

4. Host Controller Packet Parameters
5. Host CHIRP
6. Host Suspend/Resume Timing
7. Host Low-Speed Signal Quality and Transition Time Test

Please let me know if there are any register settings required to perform tests 4 through 7.

Hi Hiroshi,

There should not be any register changes that should be needed to allow these tests. What is the test procedure you are following for enabling the signal patterns for these tests?

The procedure is described in the Methods of Implementation (D9010USBC) published by the instrument vendor.

- Host Controller Packet Parameters: pp.226-231
- Host CHIRP Timing: pp.232-240
- Host Suspend/Resume Timing: pp. 169-173
- Host Low Speed Signal Quality and Transition Time Test: pp. 191-196

The host's CHIRP Timing is HS only.

for Linux system, please follow test procedure in attached document to send hub into test mode for each test.

Following the instructions I received, I issued the following command from the Linux host using libusb to put the TUSB8042A on the same board as the AM64x connected via USB 3.1 into compliance test mode.

Could you please confirm that this setting is correct?

* bRequest: 0x03
* wValue: 0x02
* wIndex: 0x0100 (Test_J mode, Other mode -> 0x0200, 0x0300, 0x0400, 0x0500)
