Hi team,

My customer want to use TUSB8044A achieve the function of upstream only by USB3.0 and downstream only by 2 or 4x USB2.0.

Customer use 2x or 4x 480M USB2.0 cameras. So the data bandwidth on USB2.0 is hugh. They don't want to let USB HUB connect with MCU by USB2.0. It will limit 4x cameras data.

Q1: If customer can use TUSB8044A to achieve upstream only by USB3.0 and downstream only by 2 or 4x USB2.0

Hi Gary,

I will double check this, but I don't believe this hub has the ability to route USB2 lines through USB3 lines. HS signals can only move exclusively through the DP/DM lanes. So you would need to connect the upstream DP/DM to use the USB2 lanes.
