I am attempting to test coax with the FPD-Link Margin Analysis Program. App note snlu234 “FPD-Link Margin Analysis Program (MAP) User Guide” says that MAP is included as a tab in Analog LaunchPAD.
I’ve connected my coax between the USB/deserializer board and the camera/serializer board of TI’s DS90UB954 EVM (although its box is labeled “DS90UB953A-Q1EVM”). I powered the EVM with 12VDC, and interfaced it over USB with my PC.
I downloaded and installed Analog LaunchPAD, and I set the Device to DS90UB954, per snlu243 section 12.4 “Startup – First Launch.”
Despite having the same v1.57.0010 shown in the app note, above, and despite showing an active connection to the EVM deserializer board, my local Analog LaunchPAD device window does not show the Margin Analysis tab:
