Tool/software:
Dears,
The customer has a TBOX and a gateway connected through a T1 Ethernet interface, where the MPU module on the TBOX is EC20CEFAG and the PHY is DP83TC812S, serving as the main device; The Switch of the gateway is RTL9068ABD, acting as a slave device. Both TBOX and gateway are configured with fixed 100Mbps and full duplex working mode.
The specific manifestations of the strange phenomenon currently occurring are:
1.If two devices are powered on simultaneously, Link Up can be successfully achieved and communication can be normal;
2.If the gateway is powered on again while already in Link Up state, Link Up cannot be re implemented;
3. If tbox is powered on first and the gateway is powered on later, it cannot establish a link up status with the gateway normally. As long as the gateway is reset, the link up status cannot be established;
4. If Link Up is not possible, power on the TBOX again or reload the Ethernet driver to restore normal connection;
5. After testing, if another TBOX (with PHY model YT8010AN) is used, the problem of "unable to Link Up after gateway restart" mentioned above will not occur.
6. The customer has configured interoperability during the phy power on initialization phase as recommended in the technical manual
7. The customer checked the values of some registers in normal and abnormal states and found that there was an abnormality in the status bit of the demodulator. Is it related to the problem phenomenon?
8. The customer also tested devices equipped with different phy chips: yt8010an and DP83TC811S did not experience similar issues.
Thanks.
