Tool/software:

The attachment is the Ethercat IO configuration the customer applied in joint control. Currently, they have configured two Ethercats and one UART
Ethercat 1/2 configuration: as attached
UART1 configuration:
RS485_EN ->GPIO 41
RS485_TXD ->GPIO 42
RS485_RXD ->GPIO 43
Now they want to configure another UART2 and have found that hardware resources are already occupied by Ethercat. Please help evaluate whether we can optimize Ethercat configuration to configure another UART2

    Hi,

    Can we get them to switch from DP83826E to DP83826AE? 

    Looking at the schematic, please replace R58 and R94 with a 10uF capacitor. Having R58 and R94 will hold the DP83826E always in reset. If you disconnect GPIO from the RESET, this will save you one GPIO. 

    Where does CLK_OUT go? Do they need to connect CLK_OUT to the GPIO? If not, then with the RESET signal, you will have the three extra GPIO for the second UART port.
